blue, please top being a jerk. I gave my (strong, granted) opinion about Burger King, and I made some food threads, and you attacked me in a very ungentlemanly manner. Please just ignore my posts if you do not like them. It is a very simple, peaceful solution. If the moderators believe I have broken a rule of this website, then they will tell me.
same.

do you think to be superior?
and your talking about my levels?
please, go to cook your dinner now
While you guys arguing I would of appreciated at least one answer to my question, 'what is dai food?' :)
Guess I'll use the easy way and google rather than asking food question on food thread lol
Good Idea!
redjon77, I'm in the same boat man. I'm interested to know what all the food is of the ethnic cultures.
The food of the Dai people tends to have a balance of the traditional Southeast Asian basic flavors: sweet, sour, salty, and bitter. It tends to be very spicy with chili peppers, and emphasizes fresh ingredients. It is also heavy on garlic, cliantro (coriander), and other such herbs and spices. They use chicken and fish and pork for protein, and a wide variety of vegatable.
Dai is the minority found mostly in Xishuangbanna. Not be confused with Bai which are found mostly in Dali.
HFCAMPO, indeed. The Bai in their own right make a eight-bowl feast that is something worth trying before you die, especially in a traditional Bai courtyard house and prepared by a traditional Bai family!
Hfcampo is pro in local travels, and food. I've followed his recommendations and have never been let down.
