I was in BKK when the same BS was happening a few years ago.

I do not recommend you spend any time there until this has ended.

You could say well I won't go to BKK. I'll go to Phuket. All I can say, "It's your life." I wouldn't spend a minute in Phuket under the best of conditions. Foolish wase of time and $$. Plenty of better places to spend time.

I just hope this military coup does affect the quality of food in Thailand and in particular in Bangkok. I found it all to be much better than the low level, backwoods greasy slime they serve anywhere in Kunming.

thailand is not that bad as what people are saying outside, it seems more safe than befoer i just went through bangkok, and i found its more safe then before, but curfew is been impose from 10 pm till 5 am for safety of all

Comparing the swill they call food in Kunming to Thai food is like comparing a 5 star hotel to a cardboard box. Pointless
