How spicy/hot do you like your food, especially Chinese food? I personally like it painfully hot, but not necessarily for every meal. I love Dai food, because it tends to be hot. What about you?

I love spicy food, and I'm looking forward to finding out what's on offer in Yunnan.
I'm not a fan of spicy food - Chinese or otherwise. My dad would always get really mad at me as he's Italian and adores spicy food. I have trouble in China finding non spicy food, but hey, if i was in China for the food, i wouldn't be here! Anyhow i've survived! : )
another idiotic thread.
how do you get to the restaurants? with your scooter?
Like spicy food just don't like eating most of the time like have ended up doing in Kunming!
Like Yunnan people always say with a shocked expression on their face, "if you don't cover all of your food with lazi, how on earth will it be able to have any taste?"
Magnifico, please stop disrupting this thread and harassing me. Thank you.
@Yankee Yeah, noticed the shocked looked so many times, haha. I wonder though, how good is the food if it needs heaps of la before it has any flavour?
Yesterday I saw a Chinese guy take a mantou cut it in the middle add this spicy sauce every body use (sorry I am not sure about the Chinese name. Something as lajiao) close the mantou and eat it. He was enjoy it so much
i like it when my bum explodes but i don't need lajoi for that
