A few years ago, GK published an article about the number of foreigners living in China.

I wonder if they can do a second article with the numbers in Yunnan. It would also be good if they can go to the PSB office in each of the 5 districts to get exact numbers for each district.

There are a lot of foreigners. Sometimes I think people forget that it's not only Americans and British foreigners but many are from Asian countries. Where I live, there are a lot of Koreans. I'm starting to see more African blacks. I've notice an increase in foreigners in the last 8 years.

Yes, to see a distribution of what geographical area the foreigners come from would also be very enlightning. Europe, Asia, North America, etc.

Lot's of Eastern Europeans in Kunming. More than i've seen in other cities i've lived in China.

If you spend time in Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou then you would see a LOT more Eastern Europeans. There are parts of Beijing where the Russian language is more widely used than English.

i noticed that too. i can always spot some foreign couples pushing their baby stroller down the street. and there're lots of thai students here as well.
