I know this has been covered before here, but I thought that I read that the second hand market was recently located. Would appreciate it if someone who has been there can tell me where it is currently located.

As of last week, most of the vendors were still on the street outside.
Well, it's culture difference, it's hard to find such conventional vintage style market in Small city,like kunming in China, because people rekon "second hand" as infelicity!
Please tell me what kind of maket you prefer to? garments or gadgets?
there are still 2 others. One in the west somewhere (I can never recall where) and another in the south. Just south of the train station. It is easy to get to and similar to the one that closed down (only slightly smaller). I am heading down there this afternoon so I hope its still there lol
It is the new rich who think old as inferior, who are making many things accessible to the less well off. These go to the second hand markets.
The reason why they are becoming harder to find is because of gentrification, and this is actually a barrier to the 'trickle down effect'.
The loss of these older and cheaper markets (including the loss many wet markets in cities across China) is making life harder for the poorest. Thus increasing the poverty gap.
Perhaps it is the new middle class who "... rekon "second hand" as infelicity!"
