isn't mixian sw china's equivalent of bk? hardly haute cuisine.
I'm not a fan of mixian myself, but according to my gf, who is a local of Kunming, the tastiest mixian would be found in small shops in villages or migrant communities (镇). I tried not to ask about hygiene.
Dazzer, to me, the difference is that good mixian is made fresh, with fresh ingredients. BK is low-grade stuff carted in from a central warehouse.
like the mixian from the village in the north of kunming that was made with waste water, the factory was shut down a month or so back, and so this extra tasty mixian is no longer available. when it arrives in your bowl with spices on it you have no idea where it was come from. and it still isn't gatronomique
As you pass Roberts school on wenlin jie turn right down the side street and they have a little (chinese)muslim place that does my favourite so far. Mixian mixed with some beef, potato and peppers, be going back in next few days for sure as really enjoyed.

Glasshouse is nice for presentation and environment (looks clean...relatively speaking).
Other large well known restaurant establishments (an establishment implies a long-standing institution) offer mixian in an upscale minority group like setting.
Dazzer your mixian report is not typical of anything and I think you must know it.
it is typical of food hygine methinks. just trying to point to the irony that the person who was casitgating bk as bad food and bk fans as retarde and citing gatronomy is now promoting anothdr fast fgood as good. i don't have a problem with noodles btw.
