Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good piercing studios in Kunming.

Also if anyone used to work as a professional piercer, here or in other countries, I'd love to hear from you as I'm just after some advice at the moment on existing piercings - not getting any new work done just yet.

Wow I just went to a supposed piercing district in Heping Cun next to Dianchi Cinema. I found a place on the first floor of the big shopping building on the Women's Alley and there was no sterile area, no sign of proper equipment and the so-called piercer was a complete deadbeat with no fucking clue. So yeah, save your piercings for elsewhere. (Unless someone else has any idea. Or knows any Chinese goths with a face full of piercings who might know someplace better...)

someone was talking about a place somewhere near The Hump - sorry can't be more specific - this ain't my sort of thing, but you might want to ask around or go for an explore.

Longxiang Jie has a tattooist above the #88 shop - they might be worth asking for leads, or may even do piercing themselves.

Try the Cosmetic Department of The First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province, also called Kunhua Hospital. The hospital's address:157 JinBiLu, I heard that they use laser to do piercings.
