@Magnifico Such as encouraging me from time to time, or asking friends of yours to see if anyone they know has found a dog or not, cause I went to a Vet's place and she said that on 16th December there was this kind foreign guy going to her and asking about dog care, because he had found a dog which is very similar to mine at the place where I lost her.

I think this guy was kind enough to take her in before the snow. So now I am looking for this guy. Wish me luck.

serena, you can keep refreshing the thread so that it appears on the top page and everyone sees it. but i should stop posting here because i'm wasting your time and giving you false hope. i don't know the guy with the dog that looks like yours. sorry, i can't help you.
keep searching. i've lost a dog and i know it's tough. but at the same time, you might need to give yourself a realistic deadline to stop searching and grieve and maybe get another dog.

I got a call from a girl the other day,saying that a similar dog was wandering on her street. Then I rushed to her place, but the dog was gone again. Fortunately, she was kind enough to take pics of that dog. She showed me, but it wasn't my dog. I thanked her anyway and kept her number, and will ask her out to dinner later when she's free. I was disappointed that it wasn't my dog, but on the positive side, I may find a friend, and at least I know ppl are reading my posters :)

But my mom took this the hardest, because our dog is like her second child. My dad and I have been away a lot, so our dog was with her most of the time. Anyway, how did you get over this? Did you get a new dog ? Please don't stop replying :)

yes, I suggest you get a new dog. maybe waiting a year is too long. maybe you can get a new dog within a month or so if you still haven't found this one and then nothing is stopping you from continuing to search. and if you do find it, keep both or give one away if you can't keep both.
