Does anybody know M visa can change into a X visa in Kunming?
Now there is a foreign student wants to study Chinese in Kunming,she has a M visa(a kind of visit visa,F).
And when she applys for the student visa,and was told by the Yunan education department that since Sep,1st, other types of visa like L,F, visa according to the new visa policy, can't change into a student visa(x visa).is that ture?

I don't know about M or F.... but L can for sure change to an X after September 1st. I have had some friends who have done that in Kunming.
