sorry, i don't get it.
Nor do I.
Regulations about visa and working permit is quite hard to deal with, I was married to a Chinese women so I can have my visa renewed once a year but it was L visa which I cant work using it, so if i wanted to work in China i should have done Z visa which expire by the end of the school year as a teacher then i have to leave if the school doesn't employ me for the next year. Thank you I divorced...
In Japan if you married with local lady you will be permitted to work legally by the same visa and also you can apply for Japanese nationality just 5 years after marriage, I wish I had done that in Japan.LoL
GB too.
@HFCMPO, went to kunming visa office today. Nothing seems to have changed much except. Married to chinese women still qualifies us for a 1 year resident permit. New twist however if we want to get a medical certificate we can now get a 2 year resident permit. Last thing my resident permit expires on October 29 and do not need to go in advance anymore. Can re-apply on the day of expiration. I will update this post after I actually have new resident permit in hand.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good place to get my Certificate of good health if i decide to go for a 2 year resident permit and what is the cost?
Not sure if the old visa entry/exit medical centre is still near the old airport site. This was where you used to have to go. Assembly line piss in the bottle, cough, blood check, 20 mins and a certificate next day.
@tallamerican,
The PSB told us they would only accept the health certificate from ONE hospital. I don't know which one it is so you will have to ask them.
That visa health check place is still open at the old location near Wujiaba.
I was there in July.
It was very busy with Chinese workers getting their tests for work in Latin America, but if you chose the tests with shorter lines its quite fast.
