Has anybody recently seen Dreyers ice cream for sale anywhere in Kunming? I know that My Favor Restaurant used to sell it but I don't think they do any longer.

Why not just eat Chinese food while in China?

There is a small store on Yuanxi lu that has it from time to time, try to check before you buy. The one I bought had definitely been unfrozen/refrozen though. :/

There is no such thing as "ice cream" in China. It is all "ice milk".

No need for a machine!
One smaller bag for the ingredients
One larger bag to put ice and salt and the smaller bag with the ingredients

Great home made real ice cream

Check for ratio of milk and cream and if you like egg yolk or whole egg

Open mind
Open mouth
Eat ice cream

(If sugar is a problem liquid stevia can be bought over the internet)

Also a great demonstration for children or adults who like ice cream!
