Did anyone ever find the place @seahorse62 mentions above?
Or does anyone know where it is?

Try ordering on Taobao... Everything is there, usually 30-35% cheaper (including shipping fees) then any shop, store or whole saler...
If you buy in bulk on Taobao, they will usually give free shipping. Indeed much cheaper when it comes to goods that aren't perishable or that can be stored for a long time.
Now if someone could find out where the Taobao sellers get their supplies, that would be even better.
Taoboa is great if you already know exactly what you want, but is not so good for associated sales. I would still like to know where the market is, as I like to wander around these markets and see what else is available. Call me an impulse buyer.
If you will use the fishy smell to track the location, try not to start your hunt from Kundu.
@ tigertiger I've been there several times. Seahorse62's directions are good, with the name of the road that connects Beijing Lu to Chuncheng Lu being Wujing Lu 吴井路. The larger market with the fishy smell (Hepingcun Nongmao Shichang) doesn't have much in the way of imported foodstuffs. The import stores are just two small shops which can be spotted by the deliver vans/e-bikes coming and going.
They do a killer business in imported cheese and meat, I'm guessing. They have a freezer on-site for cash-and-carry sales, but also work from larger stocks at a warehouse somewhere nearby.
Thx
