Hey! Is it possible to get an extension on a 90 day tourist visa? Has anyone here in Kunming done it before?

I got an extension on a thirty day one here in KM. I'm not sure about a 90 day one. When I originally applied for the tourist visa they only offered 30 days, they said I couldn't have the 90 day one.

You get max 30 days if applying from a country other than your own.

90 days if you apply from your homeland and have docs to back it up i.e. hotelbooking (booking.com is free to book and free to cancel after you've got the stamp).

Extensions are possible when in china - 2 times 30 days, i was told at the embassy but thats quite a few years ago. Call them and ask..
