Lost Garden might know where to get them at a decent price?

I miss Avacado badly, but 150 rmb is too much. I know that avacado is not growing in Yunnan, I v traveled to Xishuang banna, but no avacado as well. It is expensive coz it is an import fruit, and local doesnt eat avacado at all, so sellers would take the risk if avacado goes bad.... all these things just push the price so high. Have you tried Metro? there might have some cheaper avacadoes.

Picked up two for 13 or 18 yuan, (the girl kept trying to use English) at Wicker Basket North. Nice

New offer at Metro: avocado's... Only 99 yuan per kg.

PS: the cheapest I have found now and then was 4 yuan each.

Interesting idea, blobbles, but what makes you think you could get them in southern Viet Nam for 1 kuai each, even in bulk? Probably needs some checking out.

99rmb is a rip off.

Currently 15 RMB in salvadores, but as cheap as 10 RMB each on taobao. Just came back from Xishuangbanna, where giant avocados were around 8 RMB each. I bought about 2kg back!

I'm definitely going to give this a go as I love avocados and always have to pay these expensive prices. You never know I might actually be successful lol
