The only risk I can really think of would be if sewage has mixed with the surface water.
There could be other contaminants from roadside drains too. If the veg has come from outside the urban areas it should be OK. Wash well and peel fruit and veg is the safest thing.
At least the pesticides will have washed off.

Expect prices to go up in the short term as some crop will be spoiled and some cannot be harvested, creating potential shortages. There may also be some price gouging for the sake of it, TIC.
