Does anyone have any idea if/where there's a store/area with materials similar to Home Depot (hardware store)? I'm looking for an elbow joint and when I show it to welding/steel parts shop owners they look at me like I'm looking for alien life forms. Any info is appreciated...

tigertiger, it would be for fluid and food-grade quality (either plastic or stainless steel), 90-degree barbed elbow joint. I need to attach a hose to the barbed end..so a 3/8" or 9.5mm hose barb—>1/2" or 12-13mm NST elbow joint to be exact. If you know where I can get it, please let me know!

The only thing like that is a washing machine tap. In plastic and stainless.
90 degree, but I have not idea what the internal barrel, and internal washers are made of.
