Left this morning to go hiking on my favorite local mountain - Changchongshan.

Halfway up I was informed that everything is extremely dry and they're afraid of forest fires so they are prohibiting anyone from going up until the 1st of June.

Normal this time of year, likely it will be past 1st of June, I think last year it lasted until October!

This sounds like a prohibition that's just asking to be challenged. I love that mountain and by june I'll basically be leaving Kunming ;_;
