Is there anywhere in Kunming that'll be showing news from the US on Wednesday morning? I could get updates on my laptop but I'd rather watch it go down on tv if available.

The election here are not important so I doubt you will find anyone televising it. Whether Obama or Romney wins, it's the same. The internet is probably the only and best way. Now if it was football/soccer well, you can see it in a few bars.

If any election were on in any bar I walked into, ever, I would find another bar.

There's a BBC app that provides live bbc tv news that will probably do the trick if you have i'dongxi. Haven't found the same for android, but haven't looked too hard either.

France 24 news are having a coverage. I'm getting a good stream and decent image quality. No VPN required, and there are streaming apps for Android/iOS too
