China Is a Top Choice for Expats

Why are you convinced things are going to get much worse?

Yeah, a lot of things are bad. But problems can be solved. There's no need to fall into despair just because Alex Jones tells you to.

Hi HFCAMPO,

Interested in your statement, "Most (80%) of the expats who live in China are older (age 50)"

Where do you get that stat?

Just curious as most students, and many working people would be way under that age. Many working expats have their kids with them,,this would again bring down the age.

"Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining."
Things can't be solved as long as the same corrupt people are in power.

A student lives here for 1 year or less - I certainly do not consider them expats as they are here temporarily because they go right back home as soon as they are done. If this is the case, then a tourist will also be considered an expat.

True, there are some married with 5 children living here long term and they are younger then 50. They constitute the 20%.

True, there are many people here on business but they go back and forth to the motherland. They are usually aged 35-50. Again, they live here for their business and still maintain a home in their motherland

So I guess we need to define EXPAT - A person living in a country that is NOT their own.

Liumingke1234, this is getting way off topic, no? If someone starts a NWO thread and I'll put in my 2 cents.

I'm not a disciple of Alex Jones or anyone. I just tend to avoid the mainstream media all together and use my own mind to decide what I believe or don't believe. Anyway, China is a good choice for expats for now (back on topic).

I am an older expat in china for the following reasons. I met a wonderful woman who has to work for 5 more years before she can retire. It is much cheaper for me to live here than in usa right now. If you have not noticed that is changing. Housing, food and medical costs are continuing to rise here. Regarding quality of life, safety of food and human rights china in my opinion has a long way to go before it is close to the USA. What i do find disturbing is that many people in the USA are no longer able to distinguish fact from fiction. Political candidates, reporters, authors, lobbyists, etc. are trying to convince people to believe what they are saying is truth, but come on much of what they say now days is not always accurate and facts are manipulated so we will believe in there agenda. When i see people believing a word that comes out of the mouth of Jesse Ventura they need to carefully look at his past history. He is a large man who has a history of bullying people and can dish out a lot, but when challenged on his actions he screams that people and the press are conspiring against him. I can tell you when he moved to Mexico most of state of minnesota was not sad to see him go.

tallamerican, If I may I would like to ask you a personal question. is it your intention to return to the USA after you wife retires? I ask this question because of my previous comment regarding - What is an Expat?
