I am looking to buy a canary 金丝雀 here in kunming. So far i cant find any at the bird and flower market. Has anyone seen any there before, or know of another place to get them?
Failing that, any other kind of song bird?

There are many bird and flower markets in Kunming.One of them,a big one,called JINXING(金星) bird and flower market is in the north of the city.It's on the Beijing Rd.,close to Jinxing Viaduct.Follow Beijing Rd. north and turn west at the first crossing(It's a minor street.You cant't turn west if you drive).You will see the market.
I can't find it on google maps or baidu. Do you know what street it is on, or its full chinese name? Thanks for the info.

Walk around that area, and find the small enclave where you see lots of bird cages hanging. Selection isn't that great, at least compared to Chengdu.
Another bird and flower market in the NE near the Expo Garden also carries pets of all kinds. It's next to this bus stop 世博吉鑫园.
Someone got a gas problem ?
