On the road to Mohan and need to make a visa run.

Anyone know what the hours for the Mohan China side exit entry is?

Really need to know how late on this Sunday they open till. I don't plan on entering Laos so don't care about that side.

The border crossing at Mohan on the China side is open to foreign passport holders from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Logically, both sides would open and close at the same time, otherwise you would have a situation where people would get stuck in "no man's land". On Thaivisa.com, a British chap posted about how he got stuck in "no man's land" between Thailand and Malaysia. Not fun.

Need a visa run too. Anyone who knows please tell me, do I need a Laos visa to exit China side(US passport)? Thank you in advance.

At Mohan you do not need a Laos visa to exit China.

I would recommend flying to Cambodia via Bangkok on THAI or Hong Kong on Dragonair. Better service, more flights and better food on board.
