Apparently many people can't help emphasizing on the "only a one-side story" part which wasn't even the main focus of this thread to begin with. I could have changed the "story" to, "A girl bought a pig in Chengdu and got "foot-and-mouth disease" by contacting the pig therefore had to pay for medical treatments herself. In the mean time, the pig has fled to Kunming to avoid being slaughtered and ran into a local farm. However, the farmer refused to locate the pig even though the pig has a tag on his ear and can be easily identified... Ok, enough bullshit but I see your point here! Right, the pig can't speak up for itself so it's only a one-side story. Fair enough.

I guess the girl should have videotaped her whole "Journey with a jerk" and put it on Youku or Youtube for people to "believe" her! But then I'm sure some people would still say those were just "acting"!

I have seen this scenario several times before, and without fail the real story is somewhat different.

We only have one side of the story, the girls, and even that is second hand (maybe not - see below).

The kind of girl who openly flames a man for doing her wrong perceives that she has done no wrong, but may be the largest part of the problem. This could explain why those closest to her do not want to get involved.
This kind of girl, if she comes from a 'face' culture like China would be seen as doubly having a problem.

I would hazard a guess that the OP has received a highly filtered version from girl who they do not know well, but who they may fancy. A sucker for a sick puppy dog.
Alternatively the OP is in fact the girl who is pregnant and seeks to punish the man. A bunny boiler in the making.
