A flashing e-mail alert would be nice.

Safety and Privacy policy:At least the authority of managing the users' own posts and the right of deleting the users' own contact information.
Also the funtions of the blacklists.

Question regarding censorship and deleted posts without notification.

@AlexKMG - "Whats this about deleting posts???" I am Not a computer guru so I hope someone can help me with a reply. I am wondering if the moderators of this forum know when a user creates multiple usernames?

I have been in Kunming for 7 years and have this same account since 2009. Since then I only made 43 posts to this forum but in the last month I have jumped to over 90, most of which I directed to Crazy.Laowai and pleaded with him in one case to stop his rantings because I noticed his posts were getting locked and made numerous comments about increasing censorship.

Back to my question - Is this the same person creating new accounts?
Can WE, the public be informed who they are as they have already been banned? Will this violate their privacy? I directed my question to you Alex because you previously inquired about deleted posts without notification which can longer be found.

Wow!!! that was fast - Why verification?
In the near future GoKunming will require all users to verify their email address to prevent fake account registrations and spam.

Yesterday afternoon I wrote to the GoKunming staff regarding this same question I posted above. When I tried to post the above comment a few minutes ago I was surprised to see this new verification.

Although I did not receive an answer to my question yesterday I feel this new process has answered my question.

I still have the same question as AlexKMG about deleting posts without notification. A locked thread can still be read and the last statement at the bottom reads locked thread. No reason is required, this is the right of the GoKunming staff and in most cases the reason for the locked thread is self evident - stupidity. But when posts are deleted, there is no way to see them again and no reason is given.

I did see a user(not on your list) was banned, but after several minutes or hours later, the user came alive again, by now this user still alive.

Interesting, But who knows...

Seconding the request for a longer-lasting session! I hate having to login several times a day!
