i know this isn't what you asked but... if you take a bus to Fumin you can pick your own yangmei. it's about an hour away but i can't remember which station the buses leave from. when you get off the bus there will be a lot of people trying to sell baskets of the fruit or trips to their PYO plots. you may be asked to take another Y2 (10 to 20 minutes) bus from the station to the fields.

Yangmei is in season. But there is only one main road to where everyone flocks for the early yangmei. We got caught into going last year and were stuck in a traffic jam for four hours.

These fruit will be found everywhere whilst in season. They grow on the trees in our development.

The real raspberries and blackberries (not the phone) are beginning to ripen now with 90% still green on the stalk, I ate a handfull this morning, ...mmmmmmmmm.

Becareful where you buy them. On the news they showed how seller add sugar water to make them taste sweeter.

I pick them myself when we go to the mountain.
