yup, goat meat is 羊肉, on the rare occasion that it's lamb, it will be written as 绵羊肉 (usually seen on the bbq stands that also offer camel meat...)

Yeah. This phenomenon is happending only at those shops with mean bosses. But mostly, you know, chinese people do business conscientiously, especially in food-selling. And if you'd like to try authentic and qualified mutton or beef I suggest that you choose some Islamic restaurant. Anyway, best wishes for all of you foreigners in Kunming.
