Are porn studios illegal in China? I know there are a few in Hong Kong.

I was thinking about starting a company that specializes in Asian porn.

"Chingis - Isn't it soooo obvious this is a website for foreigners? Isn't it the original purpose to set up this website so the foreigners in Kunming could air their opinion and exchange the info and get help etc. Are we writing here in Chinese or English? And what is the percentage of Chinese user vs English users of this website?"

Already disproved

"I didn't say all the foreigners can't be reasoned with. It would be ignorant for me to say that. Well, but it is our nature, every species on the earth, to help those of our same kind. Yes we do have sense of justice but the difference in culture and language could affect our ability of learning the truth and our judgement."

Possibly your nature, and that of some other cavemen and villagers I know. Just because you are afflicted by this way of thinking doesn't mean other people are.

"You ask every single Chinese on the street on their opinion about if the foreigners in China have been spoiled or not? You can only get one answer. Why don't you do some research before you come to challenge me. Well, I know some of the honest foreigners admitted as well. Seriously, you really don't think the foreigners in China are spoiled? I must live in a different planet."

So asking Chinese people on the street is your litmus test of truth?
I suggest you set the bar a little higher next time.

Finally, supply and demand. With more and more foreigners coming to live in China this supply and demand will change.

So? Maybe it will, maybe it won't. Not even relevant to the discussion.

Thanks for your payroll information on the USA porn industry - I can see you have been keeping a close eye on it.

Happy to help, any thing else?

Annaurora – I am not saying who's wrong and who's right and I don't know you and anyone else here. Just telling the girl everyone should protect themselves by signing a contract or some sort of agreement in case the things go ugly.

I brought up the pay issue on the side just simply because I don't believe the demand would be that huge to make the pay 10-20 times higher! This is a pointless discussion as I have my view and you have yours. I don't want to go further on this issue. This is against my will which was to offer some advice to the girl.

As for you Chingis – you should go back to school to learn some manner for debate on how to treat the people properly of the different opinions. Through the whole time I've not once disgraced you by calling you ignorant and other names which I think you deserve. I've been trying to talk as we are equal. Trying to lower other people in any way at this stage of the discussion is a disgusting movement and you should be shamed.

I believe the human nature and there is why the law was introduced to prevent us from being biased.

ASKING EVERY CHINESE ON THE STREET is just an expression saying EVERYONE IN CHINA. So to correct my saying, every Chinese thinks foreigners in China are spoiled. It doesn't matter you or other foreigners disagree. I didn't bring this up for discussion.

I do need one favour from you: Please, just get lost.

QQWEN: I usually only read and laugh, but I must say this time I am throughly impressed:

"ASKING EVERY CHINESE ON THE STREET is just an expression saying EVERYONE IN CHINA. So to correct my saying, every Chinese thinks foreigners in China are spoiled."
You asked all one thousand three hundred million what they thought about this and they all agreed?!
Kudos, man, seriously...

Lorena - Is it more important the way I put it than the fact itself? Does it really matter if I have asked 1.3 billion Chinese? Asking the Chinese around you will hear what they think.

Plus I didn't bring this up for discussion. I didn't expect you to admit it – the original message was only addressed to this girl. So please keep out and let's end it here.

QQWEN is not scary because he erroneously thinks "foreigners" are "spoiled'. As he correctly states, this is a very popular opinion here and probably in any 2nd or 3rd tier city in china. And there is good reason that many people hold this opinion, they are not idiots, nor are they evil.

They just don't really possess much knowledge about the topic, and most haven't lived outside of China or co-habitated with non-Chinese very much at all.

QQWEN is scary because she represents the view of "native' vs. 'foreigner", of the idea that people are inherently "among their own kind' when they are with people from the same country. In other words, the view that the human race doesn't entirely 100% exist, or at least that people don't have individual personalities.

Jasmine is the same, when she talks about "foreigners" it is like she is taking about species of birds or different types of pizza.

The fact that I have heard others from all over the planet talking of Chinese folks the same way, proves again that (even through these foolish tribalisms ) different personality types are universal and have nothing to do with geography.

By the way, I love all the talk about "losers" and "low class" foreigners, who are not "professionals". Too many non-professionals! playboys! failures! hippies! People with packs on their backs! Lord no!

Even more hilarious was the idea that "foreigners" in Shanghai are a step above, and of course Americans in America are cream of the crop. Ethically, these ideas are disgusting, sure, but thats not the thing, its the cluelessness and irony that stands out the most.

Lastly, I hope the people who make these comments don't eat food or wear clothes or use roads since these are all made by the hard work of people who are not "professionals".

It is the villagers and the people who have never been abroad and never lived among the foreigners are still fascinated by the foreigners. The spoiled foreigners by Chinese is a very popular opinion among the educated Chinese – why don't you start a survey.

Again anyone wants to discuss this anymore please would you start a new thread. This discussion has nothing to do with the topic. I wish I had PM the girl instead of posting it in public.
