Hadn't seen it before. That wasn't just bullying but assault and it was indeed pretty sweet to watch the little tosser hobble away.
And then the bullied guy is sent out of school. Unbelievable.
I'm surprised the little kid got up after that!
I read that the bully was suspended for 21 days and the big kid was suspended for 4 days.
The big kid was also suspended as the school policy cannot condone violence. That does seem reasonable.
My son was stabbed in the face with a pencil and later head butted (cut his lip) by the local school bully - and we're only talking grade 2 here. I gave him permission to retaliate after the second attack as his parents didn't bother to apologize for either incident and I don't want to see a third incident. Teacher's aren't preventative but reactionary - kind of like homicide detectives. After he whacked the kid in the head with his pencil case - kids parents took him to hospital - said he had a headache (no wonder) and was vomiting. Teacher asked me to come to school to apologize - parents also wanted compensation - to which I responded - well - we still owe your son a stab in the face with a pencil - how about we settle this right now and then we'll be even - YOU won't owe US compensation - since we're down by one physical attack.
No response...seems the compensation request went away too. Parents think I'm crazy - scary to meet someone more insane than you....gyahahahaha...
Normally I don't condone retaliatory violence - but since the kid attacked my son TWICE with no counseling or corrective action by his moronic lazy parents - I told my son go tell the teacher if he's bullying you again - if he/she doesn't respond - feel free to bully him back - but make sure you hit him as hard as you can - do some damage and don't stop until a teacher pulls you off.
Bully has been steering clear of my son since then - thinks he's insane. Teacher can't actually condone this - but I can see she's somewhat amused. My son thought he was in BIG trouble after the pencil case attack...I lectured him a little - but couldn't bring myself to scold him.
Now the goody two-shoes passivists out there will cry havoc - but y'all need to learn - you can't argue with animals - and some people are just animals, 'specially in Kunming. Like onomatapeeeea said - sometimes you just gotta beat that dog with a stick (as long as it's not your dog)...sorry JJ...I know I took that WAY out of context - but ...hey...not interested in using my son's health and mental welfare to correct someone else's child's behavior. THEIR tough luck to meet someone like us...nobody's doormat.
oh...and for Casey - "good on yer mate!"...
Always a difficult subject - - however, a bully will NEVER learn on their own. If authorities don't respond, the victim has NO CHOICE. If one has tried authorities - - and "turn the other cheek" at least once - - then best approach is a quick violent attack. Don't stand around mouthing off cause bully's like that - they're showing off. Get in quick (and I recommend doing some damage) You won't have to do that too many times and ALL the bullys will leave you alone.
Cheers - - JJ

Yep - we tried the polite approach - verbal communication - didn't work - so now we're using the action approach - funny thing is now I"m receiving death threats from the parents...too funny, utterly predictable small time thief. When they can't coerce you into paying hush or protection money, they resort to outright death threats. Apple didn't fall too far from the tree, apparently.
We'll let the police and school officials take over from here out...barking dogs need to be kenneled.
