I just got to Kunming and I wish to have my slightly outdated Nokia N82 mobile phone display chinese characters. So far, it can only display western languages and apparently it needs a firmware update. A simple software installation won't do. Unfortunately, no one back home in Germany was able to help me with the problem.
Does anyone know a trustworthy shop in Kunming to get it done or has even had his own Nokia similarly upgraded?
I'd appreciate any help on the matter.

It may be cheaper/easier to buy a cheap phone. Several Nokias are under 600 rmb now, maybe some under 500 rmb.
