I am a recently arrived academic employed in one of the local Kunming Universities. Previously, I taught (English) in Northern Thailand. Last year I lived in Haifa (Israel) where I obtained my Israeli citizenship.

Is there any Jewish community life that you are aware of in this city? Does anyone else observe the Sabbath?
