I took my ten visiting Aussie volunteer teachers to the English Corner on Thursday. The cold and damp weather meant we only met about ten hardy souls at first, but a little later a larger group descended and we got the full "EC" treatment. The Aussies loved it and made new friends. Many thanks to those who turn up week by week and who were so welcoming to us.

I had no problem accessing the Toastmasters website at springcity.toastmastersclubs.org/.

I did find out though, that if you are using Apple IOS and the operating system is not up to date that it often won't connect.

To your other question about fees, yes, there is a fee to join Toastmasters, but you can come a few times as a visitor to check it out at no charge.

best indoor english corner is held in qing nian lu xiao hua yuan hong cheng guang chang (青年路小花园鸿城广场1720)and it operates every Wed night at 7pm, many young professionals, english teachers, college students would come to this unique english corner where we mainly engage in werstern games, interesting topics, chinese and english songs, and best of all, no curfew, there is a 10 yuan charge but you get some fruits, snacks, and drink. if you need more info, call 15288452705.

I'm about to host another 18 foreign teenagers, who are keen to experience and participate in an "English Corner". Can anyone confirm that the Thursday evening gathering at Green Lake still happens, and at the same place as before? Thanks
