@HFCAMPO Right on Right on! We are on the same page! I will leave here and not look back. I have been here 10 years. Been there, done that. The thrill is gone

@hfcampo I prefer to walk them bridges once in a while, always good to have bit of what you grew up with every now and then :)
Maybe China better than Thailand anyway. Thai ladies would suck the ranch money away in a year or so - and then its no more fun. :)
Happyjack may still consider being careful when meeting unknown people on QQ offering to help buy a house, being friends, or whatever.
I want to simplify my life. No land to manage, no animals, no motor vehicles. enroll in language school, make friends, explore Kunming, go visit the pandas in Chengu and much much more
The Pandas were worth a visit lol, they love a good lazy fight :)

The most difficult part of this transition is the Visa issues. When I came here 12 years ago I sold every possession I had and made my move to China. At that time there were many options (Visa) to stay in China. That is no longer true nowadays because of the large number of foreigners making their way east.
School will get you a visa but it can become expensive over time. Do not rush into marriage as that is one way to resolve the visa issues but then you inherit a completely different set of problems if she is NOT the one for you.
I love to walk in the parks. China has beautiful parks. Here I look at rocks and weeds and brown sagebrush. I am not looking for a romantic encounter. If it happens fine, but it is not on my agenda. I have been alone for years. I do just fine
HFCAMPO. once again we agree! I am too old for the drama of a wife. My QQ female friends are highly paid, well off and are not looking for a man to take care of them
@happyjack. I'm kinda curious how you chose Kunming if you're China travels and fond memories were of other parts of China? Was it Google or QQ that led you to Kunming?
