I'm new to Kunming, and I'd like to dance some salsa here. where and when are the salsa partys?
I dance salsa for almost 4 years.

I went to the Hump on Wednesday and hung around from about 9 pm to about 10 pm. Asked people there but didn't find any salsa enthusiasts. My iPod and I are now back in the U.S. Sorry I couldn't meet any of you!

I arrived in Kunming in that day, so...
But will you return to Kunming soon?
I'm a Portuguese girl, and i'll be here until 10 of july. I' go to de Puerto Rico Salsa Congress and than I'll return to Kunming until the end of September.
So if you come back, or if you go to Puerto rico, say something.

I returned to Kunming last Wednesday, but arrived too late to meet DJ Cachaca at The Hump. Last year I was DJ'ing Latin music at The Hump a few times. Also, Kevin and I gave some very basic Salsa lessons on Wednesdays.

There are not many people dancing Salsa in KM as far as I know, and no Salsa places that I know of.

If anybody is interested in reviving a little Salsa group, let me know. We might get some dance space at The Hump on a quiet night (during the week), although the floor is quite small.
