Does anybody know where to find a good, large indoor swimming pool in the city?

On Renmin Donglu is the Tuodong-swimming pool, close to the provincial stadium. I don`t want to recommend this swimming pool though, because as a waiguoren you`d have to pay more than Chinese people, 30 yuan for a swim.

There is a big swimming pool on Dianchi Lu, but I haven`t been there yet.

Search on this site and you'll find a couple of articles on pools. There are two decent pools right next to eachother on Dianchilu, I've been to both and they are ok,, I think 15 kuai tickets. Out west there are a couple of new large spas with good pools I've been told but up here in the north I've yet to find a place to swim (too cold now, I'll look around again in the spring). There is a pool in a couple of the biggest hotels here but as far as I know they are expensive and can be crowded. There is also a pool in the Think UK complex but I am not sure if it's open to the public and you are alone,, it's full of swimming classes though.
