Hi I read about the plans to build a 5 star hotel and spa in the north of kunming. It said 'Angsana Hotel and Banyan Tree Villa in north Kunming's Platinum Avenue Business District' to be exact.

Does anyone know where the "platinum Avenue Business District" is? Someone told me it might be near the Walmart at end of beijing lu but I can't really figure that out. Help?

Yes, it's between Walmart and the complex of Yunnan Yinxiang.
