Hula-Hooping and grassy parks.

Verity (7 posts) • 0

Hey all,

I just moved to Kunming and am a big hula-hooping fan. It's more fun with other people so wondered if there were any other hula-hoopers in kunming?

Also, does anyone know of any grassy parks where you can actually walk on the grass in kunming? All the ones i've been to seem to all be big concrete areas...

Cheers,

Kids at my school sometimes hula-hop outside before class. Those girls are maybe 8-12 years old. You'll fit right in. What do you mean by "It's more fun with other people"? The only thing I can think of is how many people you can squeeze into one single ring.

I bet it's good exercise though.

I find it easier to find grassy areas on university campuses rather than parks. Yunnan University is probably the grassiest. There is plenty of space inside the old military academy on the west edge of Green Lake Park, but I'm not sure how grassy it is these days.

Also, Daguan Park has plenty of grassy areas on the west side of the park, near the ferris wheel.
