That should be enough to be going on with. The most important advice for Xishan is get the bus up the hill and walk down. :) For the energetic there's still plenty of walking when you get up there

A new 2.5 to 3km long, elevated wooden planked walkway for mountain hikers just opened a few weeks ago (7/15) at Xishan park. Has anyone been?
