I know it has been posted before but it has been a few years so I thought I would reach out.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a cleaner/ cleaning service? I am moving apartments and would like the new one to get a good clean before I move in.

Are you renting the apartment?

When we took our current rental cleaning the place up was a condition of accepting the apartment. They even gave the place a fresh coat of paint and did some minor repairs.

The apartment is from a private landlord through an agency if that makes sense. Landlord doesn't seem willing to do very much but I can give it a try.

Landlords will often have a cleaner in first, but not always. Last time I rented he refused. Although I was not familiar with the area, the realtor hooked me up with a couple of local cleaning

who cleaned everything thoroughly, including the cooker extractor fan.

We would not have taken the apartment if it was not cleaned up and some repair work done and they knew it.
I guess they wanted the rent money.
