I agree with numlock. 250-300rmb an hour is way to high for Kunming's economy. Average montly salary ranges from as little as 500rmb per month to 4,000rmb.

Your fee is very, very expensive for Kunming.

I tutor a few students on a volunteer basis - - one just scored 6.5 on IELTS. (By the way, I have 3 degrees)
I volunteer because I'm retired (71 years old) - - and like to stay involved.

I doubt anyone is worth 300 kuai an hour downhere but I guess preying on parents fear of their offspring becoming street sweepers is borderline ok. Supply and demand.
