I'm searching for a chinese tailor in Kunming. I heard about a street with many of them. Any ideas? Thx for your help.

There is one on the opposite side of the street from the imposing Kunming

Wuhua Peoples government building on Huashan West Road .

It has pictures of past leaders in the window who've presumably been fitted out here.

If you only need the tailor for ordinary adjustments to clothing or drapes or something, there is likely to be at least one tailor near your xiaoqu (there are at least 2 near mine, I haven't really looked around for more) - tailors are not rare here, but what do you need done? If it's some western- or high-fashion thing, I don't know who can do what.

Can't find your size on taobao? Sounds like you may have to go on Alibaba first to buy some material in bulk in order to give the tailor.
