Anybody can make assertions:

'..... and none of us are going to like it.'

If you want me to take what you say seriously, then try: '......and none of us are going to like it because xxxxxxx'

Alien,

Too much American TV for you.

You elected the president of the USA, not the world.

Yankee interference beyond its borders is something I know about, you have an embargo on Zim, second one in about 30 years.

We still function without you. We get by without McDonald's and the latest episode of unfunny sitcoms.

Sounds like you're sabre rattling, good job it wasn't you they voted in.

Dear me, I'm soon voted down if I don't give the Yankee ego a good stroke, eh?

Wait, are you telling me that in Zimbabwe you don't have US sitcoms? Maybe I should move there. The worst part isn't the fact that they're on TV, but that people actually watch them and discuss them around the water cooler. In America if you don't watch teevee on a regular basis and don't know what's been going on in the lastest episode of Desperate LGBT Housewives in the City, people treat you like you come from another planet.

in zim they have uncle bob. nobody can vote him out, a real dictator, only friend is china, and possible worse than trump. no yank tv is the least of the problems

You may be right, Napoleon - perhaps the Trump election in the US will make no difference whatever to the world outside US borders. So ok, we'll wait and see.

And I agree about too much American tv, which tends to promote US presidential elections as being the world standard for 'democracy' and 'freedom' and 'progress' and 'development' and so forth, and US society as the subsection of the species to which all other groups aspire to attain, and which they can attain, if they'll just listen to US ideals, protection of private corporate 'rights' throughout the world (some of which corporations may be based inside the US and are to be defended by the president & friends), etc.

Bottom line really is that it's not simply a matter of Trump as president - although before we get to the bottom line a lot of crazy sh*t can happen. My highly unscientific prediction, for which I give no evidence or argument whatsoever, is that it will (all tightly sealed within the US borders, of course(?))
