The news says the tour guides and taxis - that took people to the fake tourist spot - were also fake (unlicensed), however theres no mention on if the police was fake too. Looking at the photo of the officials in the link I posted, it does look suspicious, but then again, the photo could be fake too.
Today we have the "fake seasoning" news, from over there, on BBC. Industrial salt used.
Its quite funny to watch this drama from abroad. :)
