Anybody ever seen beets/beetroot for sale anywhere around Kunming?

Talk to the chef at The Park Bar and Grill. Periodically, he purchases beet root on the internet. Very popular in the healthy food communities in the states for reducing blood pressure. They work!

Only type I've had here are the pickled ones in C4 foreign section.

Taobao is the only place I've ever seen beets in China. Apparently they are not difficult to grow though. I believe they do well in pots.

I ordered the seeds from Tao Bao and I am growing them in my garden now.
