My girlfriend is coming into Kunming on Feb. 9th (1 am on Feb. 10th actually) and I wanted to go there to pick her up.

Do people know if the bus service to and from the airport will be available on February 9th? Does anyone know where I can get on the bus in the city?

Buses should run regular schedules.

The bus should be available, your problem will be the time. The 919 buses stop running early.
The gold buses run a bit later but I don't know there schedules. For a flight arriving at 1:00 a.m. you are probably looking at either taxi or private car.

I arrived at 2AM or so last summer and got a bus to central Kunming - not the 919, must have been a gold bus. Several other buses were departing the airport then too. Id arrived on a scheduled flight from Beijing or Shanghai.
