Chinese news has articles about a Polish guy in Guangzhou subway begging. He goes sightseeing during the day, then begs in the evening with a sign that says he needs money for "a ticket to Kunming." Very dishonest, and manipulative. Beware if this guy shows up at Sal's one day haha.
Oh, Lord. Why the heck are foreigners begging in China? Why would someone travel the world if they have to beg?
I saw a Canadian beggar at Guangzhou train station in 2010.
Is he on a good earner through it though, that's what all the low paid teachers on here will want to know lol

He obviously came here to practice the traditional Polish art of plumbing sinks, had a game plan to undercut the local competition and didn't realise how little the Chinese work for.
Now he sits on a pavement, his dreams of his own Ford Transit van in tatters.
