Im not really going to Burma for that cat, and not really rich engough to pay 20k for some blue fancy breed in pet shop. Not even 2000 rmb.

In KM pet market u can buy 'street cat' from 300 -800 rmb . That guy was selling Myanmar cat for 400 rmb coz He didn't know what is it and said that this one is ugly. Just put 100 more coz its different from the others. I dont know if u know prices there, but when we were asking around,other cats 1000-3000 rmb. There was a nice black Russian cat ( I personally alos liked ) but 2000rmb. Not laowai thing this time, I was also listening what they say to local people around.

You said 20K the ones you reference are then 2000-3000. So, as I said, I can't see how you came up with 20K.

People can ask for what they like, does't mean people will buy it.

Surely you've seen what it's like with some of the people on here who sell stuff:

Table lamp, bought from somewhere in 2010 for 800, now selling for 799.

An old pair of socks, hole in one toe but still wearable, can't fit them in the suitcase now I'm going back home. Selling for 45rmb even though you can walk outside and buy a new pair right now for 5rmb.

All I can say is a cat isn't worth FA if it doesn't have its papers showing it's bloodlines, that's what makes it a breed in the first place.

Whatever you do, be sure to have the vet amputate one of its front legs before its 3 months' old if you let it outside so it won't be able to hunt, and give you some extra entertainment.

Or give it a collar with noisy bells. Outdoor cats can kill dozens of small animals a year, making them an important threat to biodiversity.

I couldn't find the one for 20k coz thats what my gf did, so I went on Taobao and threw some others as I thought of it as crazy expensive examples. But u see 2000-3000 ?

The value of the cat is based on its pedigree. A cat from a cat farm in Ruili will have no pedigree, even if it does come with a certificate (fake).

Cat farms are not better than puppy farms, regarding animal welfare, etc. Do you really want to support that industry.

If you like a cat, forget about the bloodlines.
