I have extended my tourist visa once, so I will have to leave the country soon. Does anyone know if it's possible in Hong Kong to renew my visa? And if there is a waiting period because I already had an extension?

I am European.

As far as I remember you can do it within the hour in Tsim Sha Tsui. This is going back a while though (maybe 10 years or more) so may be worth getting some more up to date info. In short though I think the answer will be yes, easily and quick.

they are wrong you extended in china and got a star visa there is a * in the number of entry slot, you can not renew in Hl you can reapply in your home country.

you could switch to a student/work visa if you have the right paperwork
