Maybe the official urbanisation rate is 53%, but that's not taking into account migrant workers who have not registered that they are living in cities, but they are. They are too poor too afford sky turds, and even if they weren't, they would probably send their money back to the countryside where they could build a massive house instead
@YuriCoach: I'm not sure of the specifics, but foreigners are certainly allowed to get bank loans. I believe you can get a loan for up to 70% of the sky turd's assessed value (as the bank assesses it, not the sale price).
