As a cyclist, I find it sad, not awesome. He or she (most likely she) flattened that poor guys bike. I disapprove of the crushing of an innocent bike, though I am glad he or she (most likely she) did not flatten the poor guy instead. Is that a police car in the background?

Awesome doesn't necessarily mean good. Of course its sh*t. The cyclist did amazingly well to hop off his bike in time. They should throw the book at the driver!

I couldn't get the video to load through the link, so I went to the original source. The description there said police believe the gas pedal was stuck or there was some other malfunction. Couldn't find an original Chinese source.

If it was a malfunction, then the driver did well to avoid actually hurting anyone, though it was a pretty close call.
