A friend that may move here with their 2 year old son is looking for a really good pediatrician. Any foreigners out there who are really happy with their pediatrician? If so, please let me know so I can pass it on. Thanks!
We haven't actually used one here as we had our baby in Thailand a year ago and have since been in about 5 or 6 different countries. The only place we really went was Paris, for a post-immunization rash. However, we did meet an American pediatrician in Kunming airport one day who worked for one of the big private hospitals here. Personally I wouldn't necessarily consider foreign pediatricians any better than local ones, but if you want one there's at least one here.
Sanford clinic has one wing of a large, impressive looking new hospital (Calmette) at the top of northern end of Beijing Lu, opposite Wal-Mart and right alongside metro stop.
Calmette hospital, where the Sanford clinic is located, has an enormous multi-level parking lot if your drive, or is at the Linyuqiao metro station on line 2. Take exit B.

Thanks for the input. I don't think English speaking is absolutely necessary as my friends can speak Chinese with no problem. But does anyone know through experience a good pediatrician?
