Typical Chinese thinking, loyalty only goes one way. They expect you to sacrifice everything for them, in return, they'll treat you like an ingrate.

Sometimes when I see these adverts for teachers it amazes me how much they want for so little pay. Sign a 2 year contract? I don't think so! Ha.ha.

Clearly their HR department is on holiday. However, you can probably download 'spiritual tools' from Taobao and they would possibly provide personal security when you're 'relating to (pushy) parents.

Don't quite understand all the harsh comments, tho the pay might be more, but I know nothing of the organization.

True. Treat it like an iTunes agreement, just tick the box and get on with the job.

I'm always wary to jobs that use words like 'our goals' and ' spiritual tools' and other nonsence like that.

Also wary when I see ads that mention how much a bowl of noodles costs in whatever city the school is in. I can only presume its because it's what they expect you to live off given the pay.

But then again, who applies knows what they're getting into and if they think its a good deal or something they'd enjoy then by all means they should go for it.

They're after Americans. I would suppose as from all the native speaking countries those are the guys that don't mind working late and putting in the hours. Apparently in America its a bit of a badge of honour if you're the last guy to leave the office in the afternoon. It means you're a good worker. Where I'm from it makes you a tit who can't do what they're supposed to within normal working hours.
